My Melodies #3

Hallo meine Lieben,
heute ist es mal wieder Zeit, euch meine monatlichen Musiklieblinge vorzustellen. Diesen Monat bin ich mit der Musik ein bisschen in meine Kindheit zurückgereist. Wahrscheinlich lacht ihr jetzt, aber ich habe die Musik von High School Musical für mich wiederentdeckt und zu jedem der Songs lauthals mitgesungen. Dadurch, dass ich die Filme mir so oft angeschaut habe, kann ich viele der Lieder auswendig und es fühlt sich jedes Mal wieder so atemberaubend an, wenn ich diese Musik wiederfinde. Deswegen wird dieser Post so eine Art "Kindheits-Edition" und ich habe euch einfach mal alle Songs rausgesucht, die ich früher geliebt habe. Bestimmt könnt ihr euch auch an einige dieser Lieder erinnern und bekommt beim Zuhören auch so ein schönes Gefühl wie ich. Ich hoffe sehr, dass ihr euch auch über solche anderen Posts freut und ich wünsche euch einen tollen Tag mit ganz vielen Kindheitserinnerungen.

Perhaps you think that this is really strange and childish but I really loved listening to the old "High School Musical" -songs. It is so funny to turn the music up and to sing the old lyrics. My Melodies #2

In den letzten Wochen bin ich auf sehr viel neue Musik gestoßen, die mir sofort gefallen hat. Mittlerweile sind es so viele Stücke, dass ich sie gerne mit euch teilen möchte und einen Post darüber schreiben kann. Zwei Songs habe ich im Film "LOL" entdeckt, den ich mir übrigens schon wieder angucken könnte, weil er mir so gut gefallen hat. Bei Musik ist es bei mir immer so, dass ich sie entweder sofort liebe oder nichts Besonderes an ihr finden kann. Deswegen bin ich immer total aufgeregt, wenn ich wieder ein Stück gefunden habe, das mir wirklich gefällt. Meistens verspüre ich dann den Drang, euch diese Musik vorzustellen, weil ich sie so unglaublich toll finde. Muss es bei euch auch immer "klick" machen, damit ihr ein Stück total liebt ? Ich merke es meistens daran, dass ich das Lied nicht mehr aus meinem Kopf bekomme und es die ganze Zeit hören möchte...

In the last few weeks I found some new music that I really like. By now I found enough songs to write a post about it. Two of the songs I found, when I watched the movie "LOL". Actually, I really, really like this movie and I could watch it again and again. In my case it is always that if I hear new music, I really love it or I cannot find anything special about it. That is why I am really excited when I find some new and good music. And that makes me write posts about it because I want to share the music with you. How about you ? Is it love at first sight, when you hear really good music, too ? Usually the songs are stuck in my head and I need to listen to them all the time... But finally I am going to share my favorite music at the moment with you and I hope you like it:

Girl Online - Review

Hello there everyone !

Kennt ihr das, wenn ihr ein Buch lest und es einfach zu Ende lesen müsst ? Ich sitze auf meinem Bett, die Zeilen in meiner Hand und ich muss sie lesen. Ich bin in dieser Geschichte gefangen, muss wissen, wie sie ausgeht. Ich merke gar nicht, wie die Zeit vergeht. Es ist spät in der Nacht. Dann die kommt die Erleichterung: Ich weiß es. Jetzt kann ich schlafen...

Do you know that moment, when you are reading a really good book and just cannot stop reading it ? I sit on my bed, holding the lines in my hand and I have to read them. I am caught in the story, I need to know how it ends. Without noticing how fast the time flies. It is late in the night. Then I am released: I know the end. I can go to bed...

Das Buch "Girl Online" von Zoe Sugg ist so eine Geschichte. Sofort konnte ich mich mit der Hauptperson Penny identifizieren. Ein 16-jähriges Mädchen, das in einem anonymen Blog ihre Erlebnisse und Gedanken mit der Welt teilt. Das passt doch wie die Faust auf´s Auge. Haha, kleiner Scherz. ;) Ich hatte bei ihr komplett das Gefühl, dass sie mir aus dem Herzen spricht. Das, was Penny erlebt und fühlt, ist glaube ich typisch für ein Mädchen in meinem Alter. Gerade deshalb wollte ich das Buch unbedingt lesen. Es hat mir das Gefühl gegeben, dass auch ganz viele andere Mädchen dieselben Zweifel und Kämpfe mit sich selbst haben. Die Phase, in der ich gerade bin, ist unglaublich anstrengend. Deshalb sind wir alle empfindlich und angestrengt. Und auch, wenn wir doch schon so erwachsen sein wollen, wir sind es einfach noch nicht. Erwachsen werden braucht Zeit und das ist man nicht von einer Sekunde auf die nächste, nur weil man es sich vorgenommen hat. Man ist oft unausgeglichen, obwohl eigentlich gar nichts los ist. Irgendwann haben wir hoffentlich alle zu uns selbst gefunden. Bald ist die Zeit vergangen und plötzlich sind wir erwachsen geworden... Bis dahin schnappe ich mir ganz viele Bücher und werde ganz gemütlich erwachsen.

Ich kann das Buch auf jeden Fall empfehlen, da ich es bis zum Schluss nicht mehr aus der Hand legen konnte. Wenn ihr eine schöne Geschichte mit ein bisschen Romantik lesen wollt, dann ist dieses Buch auf jeden Fall die richtige Wahl.

The novel "Girl Online" by Zoe Sugg is a story like that. Immediately I could identify myself with the main character Penny. A sixteen-year-old girl writing down her experiences and feelings in an anonymous blog, sharing them with the world. I felt as if Penny understands how I feel right know. Probably it is typical for a sixteen-year-old girl, what Penny is feeling and experiencing. That was the reason why I really wanted to read this novel. It gave me the feeling that a lot of girls at my age are experiencing the same things. They have doubts and conflicts with themselves, too. This phase is so exhausting... That is the reason for us being so sensitive and stressed. And even if we want to be oh so adultly, we are not. Growing up needs so much time and it is not possible to have an effect on it. Anytime we will have found to ourselves and everything will hopefully be so much easier. Before then I swoop for another book and grow up warm and cosy. I really recommend this novel as I could not stop reading it, until I finished. If you are looking for an easy and romantic story, this book is a perfect choice.

Diesen Blog finde ich so unglaublich toll, weil Louise so extrem ehrlich ist und den Mut hat, das zu sagen, was sie denkt. Bei ihr habe ich nicht das Gefühl, dass sie das macht, um erfolgreich und berühmt zu sein, sondern weil es ihr wirklich etwas bedeutet...

I love this blog because Louise is so incredibly honest and has the nerve to say her opinion about anything and everything. When I read her blog, I do not have the feeling that she is writing to be famous or to be noted. You can tell by reading her blog that it means so much to her. Oh and her little daughter is the cutest thing I have ever seen...

Diesen Blog finde ich extrem spannend, weil Sarah im Moment auf Weltreise ist und über jedes Land und jede Stadt berichtet. Man bekommt Eindrücke aus anderen Ländern, obwohl man noch gar nicht dort gewesen ist. Außerdem beginnt man bei solchen traumhaften Bildern sofort, zu träumen.

This blog is extremely interesting as Sarah is touring the world right know and she is writing about every country and every city she went to. It feels like you have experienced the trip yourself because it is so well-written. By reading these posts I start dreaming about touring the world all the time.

Kleinstadtcarrie.net ist so spannend, weil er einfach anders ist. Man bekommt sehr viele Outfits zu sehen, aber das Besondere an dieser Seite sind die Texte. Sie bringen mich jedes mal zum Nachdenken und zeigen, dass auch andere Menschen an sich zweifeln und trotzdem ihre Hoffnung wiederfinden.

Kleinstadtcarrie.net is so interesting as it is something totally different. Of course you have a lot of outfit pictures but the texts make this site special. They make me think and they show that other people have to find themselves as well without losing their hope. Oh and this is a German blog so it is possible that you won`t understand that much... :)

What I Got For Christmas

Hello there everyone !

So schnell geht das und Weihnachten ist fast schon wieder vorbei. Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl, dass man mehr auf Weihnachten wartet, als dass man es im Endeffekt feiert. Aber ist das nicht normal ? Wenn ich bald Geburtstag habe, dann warte und freue ich mich auch schon Wochen vorher darauf, dann ist der Tag da und die 24 Stunden sind wie verflogen... Eigentlich finde ich das sogar schön, dass diese besonderen Tage im Jahr an einem vorbeifliegen, denn sonst wären sie ja nichts Besonderes mehr, weil man sie lange hätte. Dieses Weihnachtsfest ging unglaublich schnell vorüber und trotzdem hatte ich soooooo viel Zeit, meine Geschenke zu bestaunen und mich zu freuen. Ich habe mich nämlich wirklich über jedes einzelne Geschenk gefreut, das ich bekommen habe. Und ich dachte, da ich es liebe "What I Got For Christmas"-Posts zu lesen, dass ich auch einen für euch schreibe in der Hoffnung, dass er euch gefällt. Ich möchte noch kurz sagen, dass ich in keiner Weise versuche, zu prahlen oder zu zeigen, wie viel ich bekommen habe. Ich schreibe diesen Post nur als Erinnerung für mich und für die, die es interessiert.

What ? Christmas is almost over ? I feel like, I am waiting a lot longer for it than I celebrate Christmas but isn`t that normal ? By the time my birthday will come around soon, I am waiting every single day for it and these 24 hours fly away as they have the speed of light. However, I like that these days fly away because it makes these days special as I cannot have them for a long time. This Christmas was the same and passed by so fast, nevertheless, I had sooooo much time looking at my presents and being happy. I am pleased with every single present I got and I am sooo thankful ! ... As I love to read "What I Got For Christmas"-posts , I thought, I would share my presents with you hoping that you like it. Oh and I forgot saying that I do not want to brag in any way ! This post is a memory for me and for those who are interested in reading it.

Hello there everyone !

Kennt ihr das, wenn ihr Weihnachtslieder im Sommer singt und sie einfach nicht mehr aus dem Kopf bekommt ? Ich denke mir dann immer, warum gerade jetzt ? Hallo, wir haben Sommer... Christmas Nails

Hello there everyone !

 

Ich dachte, dass es heute mal an der Zeit wäre, euch eine meiner liebsten Farben für die Nägel zu zeigen. Dieser hellweiße Ton von Essie und der Hautfarbenton von essence passen perfekt zusammen und ergeben einen sehr eleganten und natürlichen Farbton. Ich werde diese Farbe wahrscheinlich an Weihnachten tragen, da sie zu fast jedem Outfit passt und sehr festlich aussieht. Habt ihr euch überhaupt schon überlegt, welche Farbe ihr an Weihnachten tragt ? Das würde mich sehr interessieren und ich würde mich riesig freuen, eure Kommentare zu lesen !

I thought it would be time to show you my favorite nail polish colour. First I used this white shade from Essie and on top of it I used this skin-coloured glittery nail polish from essence. These two nail polishes match perfectly together and as a result we have this elegant and natural shade. I think I will wear this look on Christmas Day because it matches perfectly with my outfit and it looks extremely festive. Do you know which colour you will wear for Christmas ? I would love to read your answers in the comments below !

Style Inspiration - Alex Centomo

Hello there everyone !
                                                                          
Kennt ihr Alex Centomo ? Alex ist eine kanadische Youtuberin, die sich mit den Themen Beauty, Fashion und Lifestyle beschäftigt. Ich liebe ihren Style, weil alles, was sie trägt, unglaublich einfach aussieht. Damit meine ich, dass ihr Style entspannt und ein bisschen zurückgelehnt ist. Genau das gefällt mir so besonders an ihr, denn ich mag es, wenn es aussieht, als ob man sich einfach schnell irgendwas übergeworfen hat. Ich finde, dass das den Menschen eine sehr natürliche und echte Ausstrahlung verleiht. Außerdem liebe ich ihre Haare, die so besonders lang sind und auch nie perfekt gestriegelt aussehen, was ihren Style unterstreicht. Durch ihre Outfits, ihre Haare und ihre Ausstrahlung ist Alex für mich ein Stylevorbild. Natürlich ist ein schönes Outfit nicht alles, aber jeder liebt es doch, schön angezogene Menschen anzusehen. Dieses Gefühl habe ich, wenn ich Alex sehe. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass es ihr egal ist, was andere denken und dass sie das, was sie ist, genießt.

Do you know Alex Centomo ? Alex is a Canadian youtuber, who talks about beauty, fashion and lifestyle. I love her style so much because every single outfit she wears looks relaxed, casual and detailed. I think I have to explain, what I mean with that. I mean, that her style seems to be really easy because it looks like she threw on some clothes without thinking too much about it. Not that it isn`t important for her how she looks but she looks so relaxed and happy. I love this look because in a way the people look real in it. There is nothing fake and hidden. Moreover, I love her hair because it is so long and doesn`t look like it is perfectly arranged. It emphasizes her layed back style. ( Can I say it like that ? ) Because of her outfits and her charisma Alex is a strong women. I know that cool and beautiful outfits aren`t everything but I like to look at them and I thought, I would share them with you. My November

Was ? Am Sonntag ist schon der erste Advent ??? Das kann doch gar nicht sein. Lieber noch mal schnell im Kalender nachgucken, ob man sich nicht doch geirrt hat. Und doch es stimmt... Ich habe das Datum vor meinen Augen und plötzlich frage ich mich, wo die ganze Zeit geblieben ist. Es scheint, als hätte die Zeit geschummelt und wäre einfach schneller vergangen. Aber es ist nicht so. Ich habe durch die ganze stressige Zeit nur nicht mitbekommen, wie nah der Dezember und Weihnachten herangerückt sind. Wenn ich genau überlege, dann stelle ich fest, dass ich  sogar schon über zwei Monate blogge und es kommt mir wie nichts vor, weil es mir extrem viel Spaß macht. Ich bin sehr stolz auf das, was ich im November alles geschafft habe und es bedeutet mir unglaublich viel, dass sich ein paar Menschen die Zeit nehmen, meinen Blog zu  lesen ! Heute möchte ich mit euch meine Lieblinge und schönsten Momente des Monats teilen...

What ? This weekend it`s already the first Sunday in Advent ??? That`s just not possible. Better have another look in my calendar... But it`s true. Knowing this date is at this weekend I ask myself were the time had gone. It seems like the time cheated and the clock ticks faster. I think because of this stressful time right know, I did not notice that it`s nearly december and that Christmas is coming soon. Also I realised that I`ve been blogging for over two months now and for me it`s so much fun. I`m so proud what I managed to do and that some people take their time to read my blog. So, thank you to all of you ! Today I want to share my favorites and the most beautiful moments of November with you...

Meine schönsten Momente waren diesen  Monat meine zwei Fahrten nach Berlin, weil ich meine Familie dort wiedersehen konnte. Auch wenn die Zeit, die wir uns nicht gesehen haben, nicht besonders lang war, habe ich sie unendlich vermisst. Es ist immer etwas Besonderes, wenn wir alle mit der Familie zusammensitzen und einfach die Zeit genießen. Außerdem war ich in Berlin im Holocaust-Denkmal und so etwas macht mich immer ziemlich nachdenklich und traurig, da so viele unschuldige Menschen sterben mussten.

The most beautiful moments were at one of my two trips to Berlin this month because I could visit my family. Even if it hadn`t been a long time we had not seen each other, I missed them really much. It`s always a special time when we sit all together and enjoy our time. Moreover, I visited the Holocaust Memorial which made me feel extremely sad and thoughtful because so many completely innocent people had to die.

Der beste Fakt des Monats ist, dass ich den Großteil meiner Klausuren geschafft habe und nur noch fünf Stück bis Weihnachten schreiben muss. Ich weiß, dass das noch einmal sehr stressig wird, aber ich weiß für mich, dass ich viel geschafft habe.

The best fact of November for me is that I passed most of my exams and I only have to pass five exams until Christmas. I know it will be a stressful time, to, but I know for myself that I managed to do a lot.

Diesen Monat habe ich es geliebt, laufen zu gehen und dabei einfach nachzudenken und den Kopf zu entspannen. Deswegen höre ich auch nie Musik, wenn ich laufe, aber ich benutze immer die Nike Running App, die wirklich perfekt ist und immer funktioniert.

This month I loved it to go running because I could contemplate and clear my mind. Because of that I do not listen to music when I run but I always use the Nike Running app which is just perfect for me. It shows me my distance, the time and a lot more, what I really like because I can see, if I have gotten better.

Diesen Monat waren meine Timberland-Schuhe meine Lebensretter. Sie haben immer meine Füße warm und kuschelig gehalten und passen einfach zu jedem Outfit. Am liebsten trage ich sie mit dicken Socken, dann habe ich das Gefühl auf Kissen zu laufen. Es gibt doch nichts Besseres...

My Timberland - shoes were my lifersavers because they kept my feet warm and cozy and they match perfectly with any outfit. I love wearing them with big and warm socks as they make me feel like I am walking on pillows. There`s nothing better than warm and cozy feet, isn` there ?

I Need My Superfruit

Wenn ihr nicht hinter dem Mond lebt, dann habt ihr bestimmt schon mal etwas von Superfuit gehört. Seit etwa einem Jahr kenne ich die beiden Herren, die diesen YouTube-Kanal gegründet haben. Scott und Mitch singen zusammen und wenn die beiden zusammen singen, dann hat man das Gefühl, eine Stimme zu hören, weil sie so perfekt harmonieren.  Ich bin natürlich kein Experte, was den Gesang angeht, aber es macht mir einfach unglaublich Spaß, den beiden zuzuhören und ich glaube, dass sie richtig gut sind. Eigentlich ist es mir ehrlich gesagt noch nie so richtig passiert,  dass ich Musik von jemandem über Monate hinweg rauf und runter hören konnte, ohne dass es langweilig wurde. Aber Superfruit hat es geschafft und zwar, weil sie besondere Musik machen, die man nicht schon tausend Mal gehört hat. Sie machen ihr eigenes Ding und das bewundere ich ! Wie findet ihr ihre Musik ?

If you haven`t been living under a rock I`m sure you have heard something about Superfruit. I discovered these two men, who incorporated the YouTube-channel "Superfruit", about a year ago. When Scott and Mitch sing together, I feel like hearing one supernatural voice because they harmonize so perfectly. Well, I`m not an expert, when it comes to voices, singing and that kind of stuff... However, I really enjoy listening to their music and I think they are extremely good. Honestly, nobody had ever managed to make music, that I can hear for a really long time without boring me. But Superfruit did it because they make special music that I have never heard before. They do their own thing and I admire that ! Do you like Superfruit and their music ?
