My Melodies #4

Musik ist etwas, dass jeder Mensch in sich trägt. Es ist der Ausdruck von Gefühlen in Klängen. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass es auch nur einen einzigen Menschen gibt, den Musik komplett unbeeindruckt lässt. Denn die Musik schafft es innerhalb von Sekunden, den Menschen und seine Seele zu erreichen. Ich liebe es, wenn mir eine Melodie so gut gefällt, dass sie in mir Gefühle hervorruft, die ich ohne diese Klänge nicht gespürt hätte. Und weil ich mich mit der Musik so verbunden fühle, möchte ich euch gerne ein paar Lieder vorstellen, die mich in letzter Zeit erreicht und bewegt haben.


Music is something that belongs to every human being. It is the expression of emotions in the form of tones and melodies. I am sure that there is no human that hates music or is not affected by it. Music is able to connect with us and our souls within seconds. I love getting emotional because of a really good song. If I had not listened to this song I would not have felt that way and that is so, so special about music. And because music is something I feel very connected with I want to share some songs I really like right now with you.

Wie ihr seht, ist das keine kilometerlange Liste von Liedern. Das liegt daran, dass ich euch wirklich nur Stücke zeigen möchte, die mir wirklich etwas bedeuten, bei denen mir der Text und die Melodie gefallen. Alles also. Und da das nicht so viele Songs schaffen, schaffen es auch nicht extrem viele auf die Liste. Schreibt mir doch einmal, wie ihr die Stücke findet und welche Lieder euch im Moment besonders gut gefallen.

As you can see the list I`ve written is not extremely long but that`s because I only want to show you songs that really matter to me. Therefor I have to like the texts and the melodies. So, I have to like everything about them. That`s why this list is so overseeable. But I hope that does not matter to you. I would be really interested to hear your opinion about these songs and I would love to know what your favorite songs of the moment are.

Es ist so ein komisches und drückendes Gefühl in der Brust. Es ist schwer, diesen Druck in Worte zu fassen. Es fühlt sich ein bisschen so an, als ob ich richtig traurig wäre. Genau dieses Gefühl bekomme ich, wenn ich "Lay Me Down" von Sam Smith höre. Ich weiß nicht, wie dieses Lied das macht, aber ich werde beim Zuhören jedes Mal unglaublich traurig. Irgendwie treffen diese Zeilen und Töne unbewusst einen wunden Punkt. Wahrscheinlich macht mich dieses Lied so traurig, weil im Moment viele sehr gute Freunde im Ausland sind und ich sie unglaublich vermisse. Wenn ich darüber nicht nachdenke, dann ist das Gefühl gar nicht so stark. Aber sobald ich dieses Lied höre, werde ich daran erinnert, dass ich meine Freunde im Moment nicht sehen kann und ich bekomme sofort Tränen in den Augen. Zum Glück kann ich alle von ihnen im Sommer wieder in die Arme schließen !
Ihr müsst euch unbedingt dieses Lied anhören. Ich finde, dass es eines der schönsten Lieder ist, die ich jemals gehört habe. Sam Smith macht diesen Song durch seine Stimme noch zusätzlich sehr besonders, da er etwas Starkes und trotzdem etwas sehr Zerbrechliches in seiner Stimme hat. Da werde ich sofort ziemlich emotional und irgendwie nachdenklich. Sagt mir doch, wie euch dieses Lied gefällt, es würde mich sehr interessieren.

I have a strange and pressing feeling in my chest. It is hard to put this feeling into words. It feels a little bit like I am very sad. I get exactly this feeling, when I am listening to "Lay Me Down" by Sam Smith. I do not know, why this song is making me feel extremely sad. Somehow these lines and tones strike a nerve. Probably, this is because a lot of my friends are abroad and I really, really miss them. When I do not think about that, this feeling is not that strong. But as soon as I listen to the lines, I am missing them so much ! I am glad that I will see them all again this summer. I am dying to enfold them in my arms...
You need to listen to this song. I think that it is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever listened to. Sam Smith makes this song even more special because of his strong and soft voice. His voice makes me so emotional... I would love to know, what you think about this song.

My Melodies #3

Hallo meine Lieben,
heute ist es mal wieder Zeit, euch meine monatlichen Musiklieblinge vorzustellen. Diesen Monat bin ich mit der Musik ein bisschen in meine Kindheit zurückgereist. Wahrscheinlich lacht ihr jetzt, aber ich habe die Musik von High School Musical für mich wiederentdeckt und zu jedem der Songs lauthals mitgesungen. Dadurch, dass ich die Filme mir so oft angeschaut habe, kann ich viele der Lieder auswendig und es fühlt sich jedes Mal wieder so atemberaubend an, wenn ich diese Musik wiederfinde. Deswegen wird dieser Post so eine Art "Kindheits-Edition" und ich habe euch einfach mal alle Songs rausgesucht, die ich früher geliebt habe. Bestimmt könnt ihr euch auch an einige dieser Lieder erinnern und bekommt beim Zuhören auch so ein schönes Gefühl wie ich. Ich hoffe sehr, dass ihr euch auch über solche anderen Posts freut und ich wünsche euch einen tollen Tag mit ganz vielen Kindheitserinnerungen.

Perhaps you think that this is really strange and childish but I really loved listening to the old "High School Musical" -songs. It is so funny to turn the music up and to sing the old lyrics. My Melodies #2

In den letzten Wochen bin ich auf sehr viel neue Musik gestoßen, die mir sofort gefallen hat. Mittlerweile sind es so viele Stücke, dass ich sie gerne mit euch teilen möchte und einen Post darüber schreiben kann. Zwei Songs habe ich im Film "LOL" entdeckt, den ich mir übrigens schon wieder angucken könnte, weil er mir so gut gefallen hat. Bei Musik ist es bei mir immer so, dass ich sie entweder sofort liebe oder nichts Besonderes an ihr finden kann. Deswegen bin ich immer total aufgeregt, wenn ich wieder ein Stück gefunden habe, das mir wirklich gefällt. Meistens verspüre ich dann den Drang, euch diese Musik vorzustellen, weil ich sie so unglaublich toll finde. Muss es bei euch auch immer "klick" machen, damit ihr ein Stück total liebt ? Ich merke es meistens daran, dass ich das Lied nicht mehr aus meinem Kopf bekomme und es die ganze Zeit hören möchte...

In the last few weeks I found some new music that I really like. By now I found enough songs to write a post about it. Two of the songs I found, when I watched the movie "LOL". Actually, I really, really like this movie and I could watch it again and again. In my case it is always that if I hear new music, I really love it or I cannot find anything special about it. That is why I am really excited when I find some new and good music. And that makes me write posts about it because I want to share the music with you. How about you ? Is it love at first sight, when you hear really good music, too ? Usually the songs are stuck in my head and I need to listen to them all the time... But finally I am going to share my favorite music at the moment with you and I hope you like it:

Hello there everyone !

Ich dachte, dass es mal wieder an der Zeit wäre, euch meine Lieblingssongs vorzustellen. Da ich sehr gerne Musik höre, möchte ich euch gerne regelmäßig meine neuesten Lieblinge vorstellen. Wie findet ihr die Idee ? Ich finde so etwas immer sehr interessant, weil es für mich total spannend ist, zu sehen, welche Musik andere Menschen im Moment so hören... So, das sind meine aktuellen Lieblingssongs:

I thought that it would be a good idea to present you my favorite songs at the moment. As I love listening to music, I would love to blog regularly about my favorite songs. Wie ihr sehen könnt, habe ich nicht tausende Lieder, die ich liebe. Ich habe immer nur ein paar Songs, die ich dann aber rauf und runter höre. Hört immer sehr viele verschiedene Songs oder habt ihr auch nur ein paar Lieder, die ihr dafür über alles liebt ?

As you can see, I just have a few favorite songs that found the way to my heart. I like it better to listen to a few songs than to a thousand songs that I do not really know. What about you ? What do you prefer ? Do you have a lot of favorite songs or just a few ?
